So for about 4 years now (6 years as of 2008), I’ve had the idea of building a public repository where people can share pcap files. And I’m not the only one with this idea. So the gang at openpacket.org finally has made it to 1.0 and the website is officially open for business. Honestly, I’m quite happy to see that someone has finally made something like this available- Tcpreplay users have been asking me where to get pcaps for a long time. I’ve been talking about doing something like this for years, but never had the time, so it’s great that someone else ran with it. Continue reading
