Stopping wordpress spam botsPosted by Synfinatic on January 14, 2009 at 11:54 pm in Cool.I was having a big problem for a few months with spam bots registering user accounts on my blog. Generally, the bots would register accounts assuming (incorrectly) my anti-spam software was more likely to let their comments if they came from a registered account. As you might imagine, this gets pretty annoying pretty quickly. Tags: wordpress

The database schema change broke some custom code I wrote in my template, but turns out here’s a nice API call which does exactly the same thing. Tags: upgrade, wordpress
