The TSA really cares! (ha ha ha)

This is my tax dollars at work- the TSA creating a blog to put a friendlier face to the incompetence people experience on a daily basis in airports around the country. Unfortunately, the “friendlier face” just reeks of government bureaucracy and provides little insight or hope for travelers frustrated with air travel.

TSA charges overly honest person

Once again, the TSA fails to stop someone taking a loaded firearm through security. What makes this interesting, is that the individual in question (Mr Hinkle) realized his mistake and decided to go back to the security checkpoint and own up to his error.

Ok, my first post on Security Theater. This story is of Ramak Fazel via the New York Times. Ramak is an American citizen who decided to visit all the state capitals and use stamps he collected as a child to send postcards from each of them to memorialize the trip.
