Abuse

If you notice this system is doing something you don’t like, it’s probably not me. What’s actually most likely going on, is someone is connecting to you through Tor which is an anonymity network. This server is part of the Tor network. The result is that other people appear to be coming from this server.

Tor provides people on the internet the means to access and share information on the internet in an anonymous fashion. While some people might want to use Tor for illegal or abusive purposes, Tor has a lot of positive uses as well.

Regardless, realize that DDoS’ing my box isn’t going to stop someone from accessing your server or “get back to them” since there are over 80 other Tor servers just like this one all over the internet that they can switch to. You’ll just end up taking out my meager site and prevent me from checking my email for a little while is all.
